The Girdle is a Nonprofit Organization (NPO) that runs an active field and an online awareness programme to sensitize people about the side effect of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).

As a network, ‘the Girdle’ engages the services of other facilitators (religious leaders, doctors and lawyers) to sensitize people on the religio-cultural myths, complications and criminality of FGM. Read more at their site.
